Enjoy a seal trip with Bishop’s Boats to see the seals in their natural environment, basking on Blakeney Point. We guarantee you will see the Seals.

The best way to see the wildlife on Blakeney Point is to enjoy a ferry trip, departing from Blakeney or Morston Quay with some trips offering the chance to land on Blakeney Point. Blakeney National Nature Reserve has wide open spaces and uninterrupted views of the beautiful North Norfolk coastline. Blakeney Point offers protection for the Harbour and surrounding saltmarshes, this provides a perfect habitat for the vast array of residential and migratory wildlife. We trust our boat trip will leave you with a memorable visit.

Booking ahead by telephone for all trips is always advisable to avoid disappointment, we can also advise you about the trip. Tickets must be collected from Blakeney Quay no later than 30 minutes before sailing time. Well behaved dogs are welcome (at our discretion). For passenger comfort, Bishop’s Boats operate a non-smoking policy on-board.

*Bishop’s Boats Guarantee – In the very unlikely event that you do not see any seals, we will offer a free trip another day, or give you a 50% refund.

“Seals up close”
Reviewed 24 October 2015
“A seal watching trip is a must and Bishops Boats offer a great tour. About 25 of us got to see seals swimming in the estuary and laying idly on the shore, sunning themselves and scratching. The Skipper gave us some local history and info on the area, making the trip interesting and fun. It took just over an hour, with plenty of time to view the seals up close. You leave from the far end, past the last car park, but come in nearer the main car park. So depending on how far you wish to walk at either end of your trip depends on where you park your car. The car park costs £4, don’t pay to park when you pick up your preordered ticket as you will only be there for a few mins. There are toilets, a shop selling icecream/hot drinks and cakes and pastries. There was also a stall selling crab sandwiches. If you go on a late trip(returning at 5.30) the shops will all be shut. The toilets will still be open, I think. Enjoyed it immensely, glad the weather was nice for us.”

Once again a great trip out to see the seals , never a disappointment so wonderful to see the basking in the sun and slashing around ! The crew are very knowledgeable , and very friendly ! A trip to North Norfolk wouldn’t be same without seeing these little guys ! Worth every penny , see you soon !

“Great Trip”

Clear instructions given over the phone when I booked and these were ‘re-iterated when we picked the tickets up. Was told there weren’t too many seals around but that we would see them which at least meant we knew in advance.
Set off first out of all the seal boats and spotted them really quickly. Quite a few more followed including some hauling out which was lovely.
What I did like is our captain kept a respectable distance from the seals and didn’t harass them, unlike one of Beans Boats which was circling some and also blocking the view of other boats.
On the whole a lovely trip and well worth the money!
